Landon is 7!

It’s no secret, my blogging has taken the back seat since I went back to work.  It is what it is. But I wanted to share some pictures from my sweet boy’s special day. 

Birthday breakfast…his request was chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancakes.

Of course, since his birthday is also the “day of pink hearts” (as he refers to it with dismay) I helped out at his class Valentine’s party.

    

Landon chose to go to Red Robin for dinner, where he got to order anything he wanted.

And then of course chicken strips.

And ending with a sundae.

He had a great day.  It is hard to believe he is 7 already. 

About Landon at age 7…

• Favorite toys are Beyblades and Legos and favorite stuffed animal is “Riley” (as seen in first picture)
• Has a very sensitive heart
• Likes to be my special helper in the kitchen
• Draws pictures for each family member and also makes us bookmarks
• Points out each “cool” article of clothing he is wearing and tells me it makes him a “dude” (Still not really sure what this means)
• Is a total carb junkie. Some favorite foods are pancakes, chips, peanut butter, Nutella, and Cheetos. He does like broccoli and green beans however.
• Shows us his breakdance “moves” whenever he hears dance music
• Wants to listen to Bible stories on CD every night and says he can’t sleep without them
• Is a MAJOR staller when it comes to going to bed. He will ask any and every question under the sun before we can turn off the light and shut the door. He does this every single night.
• He is my little worrier. His little mind is always thinking about something.
• Learning to play the drums and is doing quite well at it
• Says “Clift” for cliff and Pirates of the “CarribeRUN” and “Omly” instead of only REGARDLESS of how many times we correct him
• Is always smiling and happy and is such a joy to us
